Companies are at the core of the B2B module in Magento 2. With this module you are able to group clients so they can share company information. Users within a company can share contact information and see all orders made on the organization's behalf. Your (potential) clients can request a company login, and you can approve this through the Magento 2 backend. When the request has been approved, the client can log in. The account can also be manually created in the backend of Magento 2 Commerce.


Managing users within companies

The manager of the company account and the manager of the Magento backend are able to add employees to company accounts. Employees have access to company information, other registered employees and are able to see orders and quotes. Next to that, employees are able to submit orders and place quotes on behalf of the organization. The B2B module makes it easy to manage companies and clients.

The B2B module can be managed through specific roles and rights. The manager of the Magento backend is able to create roles which have certain permissions. These roles can be managed and assigned to users in clients' organizations.
